A new LUV Car Wash is nearing completion at 191 Healdsburg Ave., with an opening targeted for Sept. 1 or shortly afterward. The 4,366-square-foot facility is expected to begin with a soft launch before a formal opening celebration.
Dry Creek Valley artist Jake Messing has completed a 42-foot mural at Russian Riverkeeper’s Healdsburg headquarters, depicting the watershed’s journey, wildlife and salmon. The work was unveiled during a Russian Riverkeeper reception in August.
Two nearby residents have appealed Healdsburg Planning Commission approval of The Hudson, a proposed 77-unit senior housing project on Harmon Street. The appeal argues the development would require a zoning variance because it would include medical and memory care services.
